Justin M. Nassiri, Founder & CEO at Executive Presence

Founder & CEO

Justin founded Executive Presence after building companies from the ground up. Before that he served as a Navy officer aboard nuclear submarines, including the USS Alaska and the USS Chicago, leading large crews on advanced missions, where how a leader communicates is not a soft skill.

He began his career at McKinsey & Company and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He built Beyond the Uniform into the number one military career podcast, wrote Veterans in Consulting, and contributes to the Forbes Business Council.

His work now comes down to one question: how leaders get found, and increasingly how they get cited, when buyers and AI assistants both do their research long before anyone picks up the phone. He wrote the 2026 Executive LinkedIn Report from 6,035 posts by C-suite leaders, and publishes his own research at justinnassiri.com.

What Justin argues

That the best company does not always win, and that visibility is the difference. That “let the work speak for itself” stops being humility and starts being a choice once a leader is operating at scale. And that being discoverable by an AI assistant is now a separate discipline from being credible to a human, requiring its own tactics and its own measurement.
