In healthcare, the mission is the marketing: people-and-mission content beat every product post.

The challenge

This global hearing-care healthtech company (~1,000 employees across eight countries) exists to make care accessible and to destigmatize a condition many people never seek treatment for. That gave its co-CEO an unusually powerful, human mission — and almost no one outside the company was hearing it. When we began, he was posting about twice a month, inconsistently, with no narrative arc: a press release here, a milestone there — the company-focused default most healthcare leaders fall into.

What we did

Over roughly eighteen months we shifted him off product-and-announcement posting and onto the mission and the people behind it — the team he’d built, what it’s like to work there, and why accessible care matters. We built a sustainable cadence (from ~2 to 7 posts a month) rather than chasing volume, and deliberately weighted the mix toward team, culture, and founding-story narratives that let the audience connect the dots to the product themselves.

The results

Posting rose 3.5x in under a year across 82 original posts, and team-and-mission content became his highest-performing category by a wide margin — outperforming product content by the same 2–3x pattern we see across every executive we study. His top posts tell the story: a founder origin story drew 192 likes, the company anniversary 187, the millionth-patient-served milestone 171, a culture story 164. Conspicuously absent from the top performers: product specs, feature comparisons, and pricing. When a prospective customer reads a post about the millionth patient served, they don’t need a demo — they already trust the mission.

The mission is the content. The people are the content. You just have to start telling the story.
