Nearly $400K in search contracts, directly tied to his LinkedIn presence.
The challenge
In 2021 Jamey left one of the world’s largest executive search firms to become a senior partner at JM Search — trading that firm’s marketing muscle and brand recognition for an emerging brand. A former Navy SEAL who believes “executive search is bought, not sold,” he needed a cost-efficient way to stay top of mind. His one hesitation: ROI.
What we did
Authenticity came first. Working with his EP engagement manager, Jamey built educational content grounded in humility and servant leadership — no braggadocio, no influencer clichés. Data guided the calendar: posts on recruiting CISOs and CIOs, plus his leadership lessons as a Navy SEAL, consistently outperformed, so he moved from three to five posts a week and upgraded to EP’s Ambassador package.
The results
A post on attracting top CISO talent went viral (~60,000 views, 600 likes) and set the pattern for hundreds of thousands of views with C-suite leaders in the comments. In under two years his following doubled (+97%) and average profile views tripled, drawing podcast and panel invitations. Most importantly, Jamey ties roughly $400,000 in search contracts directly to his LinkedIn presence — and his posts often outperform JM Search’s corporate page.
I can now directly tie nearly $400,000 in contracts over the last year and a half to my LinkedIn presence. Against the annual cost of Executive Presence, that’s a pretty good ROI.
